Governance in Africa

I prefer to speak from the angle concerns me the most and that is good governance in Africa. I would like to hear the panelists talk about good governance in Africa because bad governance is almost becoming a norm in Africa. Youths are growing in societies where corruption and other forms of bad governance are rampant and very soon they will be idealized to believe such is the perfect way of life. If these trend is allowed to continue then I am sorry that our tomorrow’s leaders will be worse than the present ones. Youths all over the world must therefore take a principled stand against corruption, sit tight leaders, and tyranny in Africa and other countries of the world

Youth Organizations

In the conference, there must be topics in organizing powerful organizatins governed by the youth themselves! There must be Leadership Training Programs, Training programs for project proposal making! There must be also prominent companies and organizations who are willing to support youth organizations.

...All of us youth should participate in different non-profit organizations that envision to halt existing and soon to be societal cataclysms; that aim to advocate the idealism of volunteerism among youths; and that envisage to promote sustainability. These organizations will be our stepping stone to render our free service to society and to develop our leadership skill. As neophytes, these will become our training grounds for the future battles against societal devastation and environmental chaos. These will also provide us youth with seamless virtues of humanity to becoming the best person that we can be. As heirs of adults’ responsibilities in the future, these will help us reveal the noble duties of everyone to contribute to achieve our unselfish goals.
Precisely, these organizations encompass different sectors in the community targeting one common goal: and that is “To make a change for betterment.” These varieties of organization help us to choose where we could be of big help that will optimize our interest and catalyze our will to make a difference in any good means that we can.
If you think you have green hands, you can share your gift by joining organizations advocating environmentalism among all other youths. Hand-in-hand with this is the overwhelming idealism of environmentalism, a widely-encompassing term that promises to deliver eye-opening facts and thoughts to move the society in mitigating existing crises and perhaps halting these out.
On the other hand, if you are a Bible-provoked individual and you believe that faith plus action can really make a big difference, then you can actually join different groups or committees in any churches of your choice provided that the you and the church have the same beliefs. Usually, these groups do outreach programs such as free feeding program in less-fortune areas, free healing masses, free mass wedding and some activities done by other organizations.
We have to remember that every organization never choose its members whether you are reach or poor, boy or girl, black or white, literate or illiterate, and young or adult. The only requirements that they need are your purpose for joining and your amazing passion to make a change.
As subtle neophytes in this society, there are really many things that we can do. This only lies to our choice whether we want simple or complex contributions. But whatever we chose, this could definitely make a big difference. It is not actually necessary for us to have recognitions on what we are doing just like some of the adults. What matters most is our desire to make a change. If all of us are thinking the same way of making a difference in our own simple ways; if we are just going to work collectively, simultaneously and continuously; if all of us youth believe in our capacity surely the change we have all been waiting will turn to reality. ...

I hope that the conference will bring a worthy and tangible outcome..

This blog is really great...

Education

As the world is faceing Financial crisis, which makes the lives difficult in terms of increasing rate of inflation which has ultimately decreased the purchasing power of customer. High inflation also minimize the chances of getting education/ professional studies as education become expensive & resources have been utilized on fulfillment of necessities whereby youth couldn't get enough funds for getting education.
I want to say to all participants to emphaize on that major issue which not only hurts the youths of under-developed countries but the youths of developing & developed countries. Mostly policy makers now a days design policies for improving economy but nobody addressed that issue which i raised.
please include this issue in the agenda/content of conference, as follows: "Non availability of funds for getting education due to all resource utilization on fulfillment of necessities, scare the youth"

Youth employment

Youth in South Asia is a major age cohort that has decisive edge in shaping the future of nations.

South Asia needs skilled youth for contributing to their economies. Improving the skills of the youth for taking up wage employment and self employment is the need of the hour. I am interested to know and hear from the participants about various policies and programmes envisaged for skill development initiatives of the youth by the member nations.
