I live in Kolkata and I am currently studying at Jadavpur University. My main interests include the role of the private sector in development, environmental issues, and the educational system. For the past seven years, I have been organizing various projects/activities to raise awareness about environmental issues. I wrote a summary of my successes and challenges in my essay for the World Bank International Essay Competition 2008, which can found on their website. I want to be an entrepreneur and currently I am working to build an association of “green” entrepreneurs in my city. I lived in Japan for 10 months as an exchange student and have also traveled to other parts of the world for various conferences.
