I am working towards my MA in International Development and Anthropology at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. I am particularly interested in how social policy is affected by economic and political development work, as well as the role of extractive industries in fueling the growth of prosperity. After finishing my BA at the College of William and Mary, I traveled extensively throughout South Asia, while freelancing for a variety of publications. The months I spent in the Himalayas are some of my fondest memories, and I can brew a mean cup of chai. Recently, I've worked on democracy and governance programs throughout Asia, especially in post-conflict countries.
